Impromptu Photo Shoot

I should have another photo shoot from July by Nick Adams to post in a few weeks. This was done in June.
My friend Pamala does marketing for business around the world she recently moved to Saint George and was throwing a Gala event, for the event she had scheduled her renowned photographer friend James Van Alden to come and take photos ( as well as David Carradine to play guitar, he is in Kill Bill and loads of other movies.) Pamala thought it would be a great idea to have James take pictures of me while he was in town from LA the only trouble was Dave and I were already going out of town that weekend. The morning after the Gala, literally on his way home James, Pamala, and Alice Walker all decided to stop by my antique store for a little impromptu photo shoot. I was not expecting them so it is completely un-styled, just me what I happened to be wearing that day, and how I had done my makeup and hair(had I known it would have been done different). It was only about twenty minutes long but a lot of fun in the middle of my antique store with customers all around! He asked me not to smile. He only shoots on film a camera from the 1970’s, no lighting, no digital, no Photoshop, a photographer of old.
These are two images from our little session, he has one on his website now, and has told Pamala he wants to put one in his next book, so that is exciting!
Here is his website you should take a look he does a good job, the colors he gets with natural lighting is amazing. He does not have the socialite link is (not up right now) is a spread that came out in a European magazine a few weeks ago
This happened the last week of May but I just now received images that I could post.

...........A little disclaimer if you look around his site there are a few nude images.

Sarah's Birthday!

My Birthday was on August 15th, we went to Samauri of course, I drug Dave my mom, Dad and my brother Josh to Sisterhood of Traveling Pants 2, I had wanted to see House Bunny but it was not out until the following week. We also had a little family party at their house. It was a lot of fun. Now to the good part presents! From my friends Pam and Mitch gave me a 35.00 gift certificate to Samuari, so I had a good excuse to go twice in a week. My family gave me a Madame Alexendar 21" portriat Doll, Toulouse Lautrec, she was only made for one year 1986-1987, She looks even better in person than she does in the pictures. I have collected dolls since I was ten so I am still a baby about that. From Dave, his Dad, Talon, Kaylene, and the Heidi Clan I got an original 1960's hand signed Breakfast at Tiffanys movie poster. The poster is signed by Audrey Hepburn and George Peppard. AHHHHHHHHHH, I was and still am super excited about this present. Thank you again to everyone who chipped in, I adore it!

This pictures is not of my doll just one I found online.
